Over the years, SMR Consolidated has expanded its capabilities to include the entire cycle of coconut oil production; from nuts to oil. All our processes, milling, refining, filling and final packaging are governed by strict quality control regulations relating to food safety.
The SMR refinery is the first continuous physical edible oil refinery in Sri Lanka. It is also the first refinery to hold Organic Certification.
Our premium quality coconut oil range is also of the highest standard and remains in high demand all over the world, while a by-product of these processes coconut oil cake is ground to a fine coconut flour at the coconut flourmill.

The extraction plant manufactures premium quality crude coconut oil and we take great pride in employing a range of skilled personnel for the entire processes. Our staff is highly motivated and qualified with years of experience.
Filling and packaging activities are automated to cater vast range of packaging options starting from 100ml to 21MT. SMR has the capacity to customize orders to specific client requirements. We operate an exceptionally efficient packaging line and our long years of packing experience ensure that we are able to meet deadlines, even with very short lead times.
Quality assurance procedures, product safety and hygiene standards are maintained at the highest levels for all goods and packaging.
As part of its integrated offering, the company also operate a margarine plant, which manufactures margarines, shortening, and compounds for bakery and confectionery products.
The 'Coconut Triangle' lies between Kurunegala, Puttalam and Gampaha; a lush, green landscape where the groves of swaying coconut trees seem endless. The company’s own coconut lands are also located in this verdant countryside - an authentically sustainable agricultural venture providing profitable employment to the local farmers. Since the mill is located within the coconut triangle, products are fresh, easily accessed, and cost-effective which helps to benefit the clients.
