The organic coconut flour is a gluten free baking “flour” that is essentially dried coconut in powdered form. It is made from the coconut solids that are left over after the coconut kernel had been used to produce organic virgin coconut oil. The solids are ground into a very fine, flour-like powder. A by-product of refining, the free fatty acid distillates of coconut and palm oil are perfect raw materials for soap making. Coconut fatty acid distillate is liquid in room temperature whereas palm fatty acid is solid. This product which has a high demand is exported in bulk by SMR.
